ASSOCIATE IN TOURISM
This course is designed to enhance the knowledge, skills and attitude of the students to become entrepreneurs, managers and consultants in travel and tourism industry. With the Institution’s linkages with various travel agencies and airlines such as the Clark International Airport, student learning will be able to apply their skills in training. Possible employment opportunities for tourism graduates are managerial position in travel agency, travel consultant, stewardess, bookkeeper, accounting clerk, costumer relations officer, junior secretary, administrative assistant, front office attendant, front office supervisor in cruise ships and international airports. Moreover tourism graduates upon employment in airline companies will enjoy attractive salary package and other awesome benefits such as free airline tickets for the entire family.
HOTEL AND RESTAURANT SERVICES
This program is designed to provide the students with necessary knowledge and skills in the area of service and operations in the Hotel and Restaurant services. In this program students become globally competitive as hospitality practitioners. The course program provides the students with an understanding and appreciation of the different sectors of the hospitality industry such as food and beverage service, housekeeping, front office and bartending. Jocson College also own its own Hotel, the First Avenue Hotel, cited near the campus area. With its various grandeur of suite rooms, accessibility of the front office and other facilities, students are able to apply their knowledge in the real hotel and restaurant environment. Upon completion of this course, graduates will be qualified as food and beverage attendants, housekeeping supervisors in cruises, ships and international airports.
AVIATION PROGRAMS
Aviation courses included the two-year Aircraft Maintenance Technology with an Airframe and Powerplant Rating, the two-year Avionics Technology with Radio, Instrument, Electrical and Electronics Ratings, and the 3-month Post Graduate Training in Aircraft Structural Specialist Course which allows specialization in airframe inspection and structural repair. Jocson’s on-site capabilities include fully-equipped multi-media based classrooms with complete tools, equipment and facilities. Its off-site facilities allow actual Hands-on Training on a B737-200 aircraft in partnership with Lufthansa Technical Training. Jocson College is the first in the Philippines to offer Computer-Based Aviation Training.
Employment opportunities for graduates include General Aviation, Line Maintenance, Powerplant Repair and Aeromedevac, and others most of which are also airline affiliates.
AIRCRAFT MAINTENANCE TECHNOLOGY
This course is specifically designed and developed to prepare students for highly technical field of aircraft maintenance, repair and overhaul by providing the advance knowledge and skills in the servicing of all types of aircraft to ensure a degree of reliability and a high standard of safety.
AVIATION ELECTRONICS TECHNOLOGY
This course I designed and developed specifically for Aviation in both airbone and ground equipment for conventional and wide-bodied aircraft with emphasis on air navigation and computer communications.
